Lt Gen Devendra Sharma retires from Indian Army after 39 years of service

After an illustrious thirty-nine years, Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma has retired from the Indian Army. He was the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of ARTRAC in Shimla, notable for his leadership and bravery. Commissioned into the SCINDE HORSE armoured regiment in 1987, he received the Sena Medal for gallantry during counter-insurgency operations and commanded various formations throughout his distinguished career.
