US10Y Weekly Chart BreakoutUnited States 10 Year Government Bonds YieldTVC:US10YItsJust_KessUS10Y The 10-year yield is top of watch for me as some might know (and has been fora while). I Have ben bullish on yields since we were near 4.1% and this chart began to really shape up. I think this still has room as Warsh and Bessent are seemingly on the same page on the likelihood we see another hike in rates this year let alone next year if inflation remains sticky. I still remember the early conversations in 2023-2024 about how inflation could remain sticky around this 3% area - the clear goal is set and it is 2%. There is currently over a 66% chance we see a rate hike come September FOMC which is why ii anticipate short term yields to continue to rally up until then in anticipation of a hike. This weekly chart breakout is enough to really get me over the hump that the market is beginning to agree on the hike... but also it has me thinking what will be said in the short term to help prevent the 10-year from really getting out of control... like going over 5%.
