Suryanarayana (Operations), K. Venkateshwarlu (Projects & Planning) and others.The delegation stated that Australia is keen to encourage partnerships with international organisations in the critical minerals sector and invited Singareni having extensive experience in mining to explore a mutually beneficial partnership.They observed that there is a growing global demand for critical minerals and stated that Monash University is prepared to provide technical expertise in advanced technologies, environmentally sustainable mining practices and commercially viable strategic business initiatives in this sector.Further, they highlighted Monash University’s expertise in research, education, industry collaboration and transforming research outcomes into commercially viable technological solutions. It stated that the university has been working with industries and research institutions across the world in various sectors.The meeting primarily focused on the growing global importance of critical minerals and the opportunities available in their exploration, extraction, processing and refining as well as the manufacture of value-added products.
