Taurex UK Returns to Profit as Turnover Nearly Triples to £5.6 Million

London-based onlinetrading company Taurex Limited, formerly known as Zenfinex Limited, returned toprofit in 2025 after a loss-making year, with a sharp increase in turnoverhelping to improve its financial performance.The company generateda profit of £148,561 for the year ended 31 December 2025, according to itslatest profit and loss account. That compares with a loss of £1.71 million in2024.The latest resultsfollow a period of rapid revenue growth at Taurex. Finance Magnates reportedlast year that thecompany's turnover more than doubled to £1.95 million in 2024, although itremained loss-making. Administrative expenses stood at £3.04 million that year.In May, Taurexappointed MatthewWright as Global CEO, returning him to the role four years after he steppeddown. Wright had spent the previous year as a Non-Executive Director at the CFDbroker. The company said the Board approached him to take over as CEO, with hisreturn taking effect immediately.Taurex Turnover Surges Nearly ThreefoldThe improvement inprofitability was largely driven by the substantial increase in turnover.Taurex reported £5.62million in turnover, compared with £1.95 million a year earlier. The increaseof almost £3.7 million means revenue was nearly three times the level recordedin 2024.The stronger revenueperformance also translated into a significant increase in gross profit.Cost of salesincreased from £619,405 to £959,809 during the year. However, the rise wasconsiderably smaller than the increase in turnover.As a result, grossprofit reached £4.66 million, up from £1.33 million in 2024. This representedan increase of more than £3.3 million over the year.Moves Into Profit Despite Rising CostsTaurex also recordedhigher administrative expenses. These rose from £3.04 million to £4.56 million,an increase of around £1.52 million.Despite the higheradministrative costs, the increase in gross profit was sufficient to move thecompany into operating profit.Taurex recorded an operatingprofit of £100,557 in 2025, compared with an operating loss of £1.71 million inthe previous year. The operating result therefore improved by approximately £1.8million.The company alsoreceived a larger contribution from interest receivable and similar income,which increased from £8,418 in 2024 to £15,050 in 2025.After accounting forthis income, Taurex reported a pre-tax profit of £115,607, compared with a pre-taxloss of £1.71 million a year earlier.A tax credit furtherincreased the final result.
