BTCUSDT: 4H FVG Rejection → Liquidity Sweep → 75K? Bitcoin / TetherUSBINANCE:BTCUSDTZkGoldTrader📉 BTCUSDT — 4H FVG Rejection Setup My bearish thesis is simple: BTC has experienced a strong impulsive move, but price is now approaching a 4H Fair Value Gap / supply zone. Instead of chasing the move, I’m watching for buy-side liquidity to be taken first, followed by a rejection and bearish market-structure shift. 🧠 The Setup 1️⃣ 4H FVG = Area of Interest The red zone on the chart is the key area. I don't want to blindly short the first touch. I want to see price trade into the FVG, potentially sweep nearby buy-side liquidity, and then show rejection. 2️⃣ BS → Liquidity The local high/BS area is important because traders entering late can place stops above it. A move above the local high followed by a fast rejection would give the setup much more confluence. 3️⃣ MSS / Bearish Confirmation The ideal confirmation is: FVG mitigation → liquidity sweep → bearish displacement → structure break That gives us a much cleaner entry than simply shorting resistance. 4️⃣ SSL Becomes the First Objective Once bearish structure confirms, the obvious draw on liquidity is the sell-side liquidity (SSL) marked below the current range. That is the first area where I would expect price to react. 5️⃣ Extension Target If SSL gets taken with strong displacement, the next major objective is around 75.3K. That would complete the larger downside leg illustrated on the chart. 🎯 Trade Plan Short zone: 4H FVG / supply area Confirmation: Liquidity sweep + bearish displacement + MSS TP1: SSL / range lows TP2: ~75.3K Invalidation: Sustained acceptance above the 4H FVG / chart's invalidation level ⚠️ The Important Part I am NOT saying: “BTC must go down.” I'm saying: If BTC sweeps liquidity into the 4H FVG and fails to reclaim the zone, I want to participate in the bearish expansion. If BTC instead breaks through the FVG, holds above it, and turns the zone into support, the bearish thesis is invalidated. That distinction is important. 🧩 Market Logic Liquidity → Imbalance → Displacement → Target That's the sequence I'm watching. The market doesn't need to follow the red projection candle-for-candle. The projection is simply the path I would expect if the bearish conditions are confirmed. With BTC having recently rallied sharply above $80K, I want to see confirmation rather than anticipation. Recent market commentary has also highlighted the importance of the ~$80K area after BTC's move above it. B Barron's +1 🚨 Bullish Invalidation If BTC: breaks above the 4H FVG → closes strongly above it → retests and holds it as support then I would abandon the short thesis. No emotional attachment. Invalidation is part of the setup. 📌 What I'm Watching 🔴 4H FVG — reaction zone 🟡 BS / local highs — potential buy-side liquidity ⚪ MSS — confirmation 🔵 SSL — first downside draw 🟢 75.3K — larger bearish objective Patience > prediction. I want the liquidity sweep and confirmation before entering. This is a technical/educational market scenario, not financial advice. Always manage risk and define invalidation before entering a trade.
