Holy crab cakes, you’re the wood furniture refinisher of my dreams! I can’t find that level of work in refinished pieces (stained or painted) by professionals I have been friends with for ages who are valuing their labor at $50 to $75 an hour; they also don’t have as meticulous a process as you describe, and you can tell in their finished pieces. I decided to refinish some of my own pieces since I was routinely disappointed by professional results, and it definitely takes the level of labor you do to get it done right 💛. I encourage you to up your “hourly labor rate”.
