Where Price Is Accepted — and Where It Is RejectedE-mini S&P 500 FuturesCME_MINI_DL:ES1!MQLSoftwareThis chart uses the open-source Volume Nodes & Value Migration indicator to show three different volume-node states on the same ES1! Daily chart: rejected, accepted, and still unresolved. July contains both resolved outcomes. An early high-volume node was rejected, while the later monthly Point of Control was accepted after price continued to hold around it. August then built a new value area higher up. The current monthly POC sits at 7,736.50, with the Value Area extending from 7,671.75 to 7,801.00. The panel shows that this POC migrated 2.68 ATR higher (+2.53%) versus the previous monthly window. The prior POC has already been revisited. Base rates measured on this exact chart: Prior POC revisited: 70% (n=346) POC retest resolved as accepted: 45% (n=225) High-volume node retest resolved as rejected: 55% (n=209) These figures describe what occurred across the history loaded on this chart. They are not forecasts. In this sample, high-volume-node retests resolved as rejected slightly more often than they resolved as accepted. The current August POC remains marked “armed,” meaning its outcome has not yet been classified. If subsequent confirmed closes continue to hold around the POC, the node may resolve as accepted. If price probes through it and closes back away from the level, it may resolve as rejected. Neither outcome is assumed in advance. This is an educational reading of market structure, not a trade signal. No entry, target, or performance outcome is implied.
