Recently, we saw a massive drop, which naturally created panic. But if we zoom out and look at the market objectively, that aggressive sell-off respected the lower boundary of our macro ascending channel perfectly. Fundamentally, the overall trend remains bullish. The divergence between the US Federal Reserve (which is keeping rates relatively high to fight inflation) and the Bank of Japan (which struggles to sustainably tighten policy) continues to support the Dollar over the Yen. The carry trade dynamic is still a major factor in the background. However, recognizing a macro bullish trend does not mean we buy blindly. We don't fight the market, and we certainly don't chase green candles. The Setup (Lower Timeframe Execution): On the 4H chart, price has just broken above a local resistance level and is currently trading around 160. Instead of entering right here, the professional approach is to wait. We are looking for a pullback into the newly formed support zone (around 159.5). Why a pullback? It gives us a better risk-to-reward ratio, allows the market to confirm the breakout, and helps us avoid buying into an exhausted move. Bullish Scenario: If price pulls back to the support zone and we see bullish price action (rejection wicks, momentum shift), we can look toward our targets: Short-Term Target: 162.4 Mid-Term Target: 164.0 Invalidation: Every trade must have a line in the sand. If price fails to hold the support and breaks below 158.1, this setup is no longer valid. We do not hold and hope; if the structure breaks, we step aside. Patience comes before execution.
