A 20-year-old Romanian man was arrested in Floriana just hours after allegedly smashing the window of a parked car in Swieqi.Police said they received a report yesterday concerning an incident which had taken place at around 5.30am in Triq is-Swieqi.According to police, a person walking along the street allegedly smashed the window of a vehicle which was parked in the area.Officers immediately began analysing footage connected to the incident and managed to identify the property where the suspect had been staying.However, by the time officers tracked down the location, the man had already left the property.Investigations continued throughout the day, eventually leading police to Floriana, where the 20-year-old was arrested at around 5pm.The man is expected to be arraigned at around 11.45am today before Magistrate Gabriella Vella.•
