WEEKLY MARKET OUTLOOK – THE SPRING IS GETTING SQUEEZEDNifty 50 IndexNSE:NIFTYssudhirsharma11After a short break, we're back! And interestingly, the market is sitting in a zone that deserves close attention. NIFTY 50 – COMPRESSION CONTINUES Nifty closed at 24,175, almost unchanged from the previous week's close. Weekly High: 24,378 Weekly Low: 24,076 But the bigger story is what has been happening since the **March 2026 monthly candle**. March High: 24,989 March Low: 22,283 For the 5th consecutive month, Nifty has remained within this March high-low range. The spring is getting squeezed tighter. The longer this compression continues, the more interesting the eventual breakout could become. The question is not *whether* the range will eventually break — it's **which side breaks first**. On the weekly timeframe, I still consider this a No Trading Zone for aggressive directional trades. Expected Range:24,600–24,000 Weekly close below 23,950 would not be good news for bulls. INDIA VIX – OPTION SELLERS, DON'T GET TOO COMFORTABLE India VIX is hovering around the 10–11 support zone. Low volatility may look comfortable, but sudden expansion can catch option sellers off guard. 👉 Option sellers should consider **locking profits regularly** rather than becoming complacent. For option buyers, extremely low VIX also means premiums can remain compressed until volatility expands. BANK NIFTY – THE QUIET BEFORE THE STORM? The OG of volatility is behaving unusually quietly. For the last 5 weeks, Bank Nifty has been forming small-bodied candles — something we don't normally associate with this beast. This prolonged compression is also contributing to the **NR5-type structure on the monthly timeframe**. Expected Range:** 58,500–56,500 A decisive break on either side could bring some serious fireworks. Bank Nifty's next expansion could have a significant impact on Nifty as well. S&P 500 – BREAKOUT OR FALSE START? S&P 500 closed at 7,711, around 40 points higher than the previous week. The important development: 7,583, which was earlier resistance, is now acting as support. As long as this level holds, the structure remains constructive. Above 7,800: 7,885 → 8,000 → 8,124 Weekly close below 7,583: The bullish structure would come under pressure. For now, everything looks normal. BONUS – MY DAY-WISE NIFTY STUDY This is simply my probability-based study for the week — **not a prediction**. Price action will have the final say. 🔴 **Monday:** Selling pressure possible 🔴 **Tuesday:** Possible gap-down opening; initial weakness may reverse toward support by EOD 🟡 **Wednesday:** Sideways to selling pressure 🟡 **Thursday:** Sideways movement 🟢 **Friday:** Weak opening possible, followed by an afternoon recovery FINAL VIEW Nifty is compressed. Bank Nifty is compressed. VIX is compressed. S&P 500 is sitting near breakout territory. Something is clearly building beneath the surface. But when the spring is compressed this tightly, **guessing the direction can be more dangerous than waiting for confirmation.** 👉 Watch the levels. 👉 Control position size. 👉 Let price tell us who wins. **Trade the levels. Not the noise.**
