As a result, the goal stood because Maguire’s effort wasn’t on target.Fernandes got his second from the penalty spot when Greaves scythed Cunha down.And he soon had a hat-trick when a Bryan Mbeumo effort deflected into his path, and he found the bottom corner.But that wasn’t the end of the scoring as Mbeumo chipped home before Julio Enciso robbed Lisandro Martinez and put the ball on a plate for Chuba Akpom to tap home. It meant that while a lot of Man United fans left soaking wet, they at least had three points to celebrate.
