This new semi-high speed train will run between Surat and Udaipur. The train will be maintained and operated by the Western Railway (WR) zone.In a letter dated August 31 addressed to the General Managers (Operating) of Western Railway and North Western Railway, the Railway Board stated that it has approved the introduction of the 26903/26904 Surat-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express.Indian Railways to discontinue one Vande Bharat trainThe Railway Board also approved the discontinuation of train numbers 26963/26964 Udaipur City-Asarva Vande Bharat Express. The Udaipur City-Asarva (Ahmedabad) Vande Bharat Express was introduced in February 2026.
