Eli with the Giants, Arch with the Jets,” Kiper said in his way-too-early 2027 NFL Mock Draft. “And if that’s not going to excite you, and Arch has got to get better… in terms of accuracy. “If you’re going to run around, and you’re going to beat teams with your legs running, you got to be able to extend plays and hit those receivers, not just putting it in the area.“It’s making a precise and accurate throw, not missing easy opportunities.“He’s gonna have tons of weapons with Raleek Brown and Hollywood Smothers in the back field and Cam Coleman coming in to join [Ryan] Wingo on the other side. They have the weapons around the quarterback.“I know [Trevor] Goosby’s a little banged up. He’ll get back to full strength. They move [Brandon] Baker to guard. The line should be fine. He’s not 20, 21, 22-years-old. He’s going to be 23 when he’s drafted and when he’s a rookie quarterback. “This is the year for Arch, and both these teams are national championship or bust. Both Oregon and Texas are that way because the quarterback’s back and they got a lot of talent around them. That’s why it’s national championship or bust. “I think Arch is going to have a heck of a season. They’ve got to beat Ohio State. They’ve got to beat Ohio State when the Buckeyes come to Austin. That’s a must-win game and Arch has got to play great throughout the year as Dante does. “So, I’m going to go Arch Manning here at second pick overall to the New York Jets.”Whether the Manning family would allow one of their own to suit up for the Jets, though, is another question entirely. Furthermore, it is very difficult at this stage of the season, with it yet to have even kicked off, to determine which teams will be in contention for the coveted Manning sweepstakes. Manning has therefore also been linked with the Arizona Cardinals – who are tipped as underdogs in every single game this season – and Cleveland Browns, among many, many others. Nonetheless, Manning is destined for the NFL and will have just one more season left at college to prove that he is worthy of overtaking Moore as the best quarterback in the draft and go No. 1 overall, just like both of his uncles did.
