If you’ve noticed noisy static in your recordings, you’re not alone. As Android Authority reported last week, a number of buyers have been experiencing this problem. Fortunately, it may not be long before a fix arrives.To quickly summarize the situation, we spotted reports on Reddit that suggested there was an issue with Video Boost (a Pixel camera feature that enhances video color, lighting, stabilization, and low-light detail). According to the reports, videos captured with this feature on contained static noise. The cause of the issue is unknown, but some attributed it to an Audio Zoom (a feature that boosts the sound of the zoomed-in subject while cutting down background noise) bug.
