Stanbic Bank Uganda has unveiled a new Executive Banking Customer Value Proposition aimed at providing personalised banking, wealth-building opportunities and exclusive lifestyle experiences to Uganda’s growing segment of affluent and ambitious customers. The new proposition, branded “Step into a World of More,” was introduced during an engagement with about 50 selected media personalities at Onomo Hotel in Kampala as part of Stanbic Bank’s celebrations to mark 35 years of operations in Uganda. The bank said the proposition is designed to respond to changing customer expectations, with Executive Banking clients increasingly demanding convenience, personalised service and solutions tailored to their individual financial and lifestyle needs.Stanbic Bank Manager for Executive Banking Cathy Kakiiza said the new proposition was developed in response to customers who are looking beyond conventional banking services and seeking opportunities to grow their wealth and achieve their personal ambitions.“Step into a World of More was inspired by the understanding that our customers are ambitious and are constantly looking for opportunities to grow, build wealth and create better lives for themselves and their families,” Kakiiza said. She said the proposition aligns with the bank’s purpose of driving Uganda’s growth by supporting individuals to build wealth, access opportunities and achieve their ambitions.Stanbic Bank Head of Customer Experience Sonia Karamagi said the new offering reflects the growing importance of customer experience in the financial services sector.“Customer experience is no longer simply about the service delivered at a branch or through a digital platform. It is about the entire journey and how customers feel at every interaction with the bank,” Karamagi said. She added that the bank was investing in understanding customer needs and creating experiences that combine personalised human interaction with the convenience of digital banking.“For our Executive Banking customers, we understand that time is valuable and that their needs are different. Our responsibility is therefore to create seamless, personalised and convenient experiences while ensuring that our customers feel understood and valued,” she said.Media personality Flavia Tumusiime said the shift towards personalised services reflects changing expectations among customers, particularly professionals who require efficient and convenient access to financial services.“Today’s customer is looking for more than just a transaction. People value experiences, convenience and service that understands their individual needs,” Tumusiime said.News anchor Canary Mugume said financial institutions would increasingly need to move beyond standard products and focus on understanding the lifestyles and ambitions of the customers they serve. He said the evolving relationship between banks and their customers was increasingly being shaped by the demand for services that support broader personal and financial goals.Through the new proposition, Stanbic is positioning Executive Banking as a service that extends beyond traditional money management to include wealth creation, access to opportunities, convenience and personalised experiences. The launch comes as the bank marks 35 years of operations in Uganda, with the Executive Banking proposition forming part of its broader effort to evolve its services in line with changing customer needs and aspirations. The post Stanbic Launches Executive Banking Proposition Targeting Uganda’s Growing Affluent Market appeared first on The Insider.
