Giannis Konstantelias will miss "several months" of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), Borussia Dortmund have confirmed.Greece international Konstantelias made a goalscoring debut for Dortmund as they overcame Hamburg 2-0 in their Bundesliga opener on Saturday.The 23-year-old, who was a €30m arrival from PAOK in the close season, went down with a left knee injury and was replaced by Marcel Sabitzer in the 54th minute.Dortmund revealed on Sunday that Konstantelias had suffered ACL damage and would be sidelined for an extended period.BVB managing director of sports Lars Ricken said: "This news hits us hard, because Giannis has already shown in a very short time why we see him as a great player for Borussia Dortmund."For now, however, his and our focus is on his recovery.
