NASDAQ Pre-Market Range Sweep — How It WorksUS Nas 100OANDA:NAS100USDjosselianiThe indicator defines the range formed before the active US session begins. The main idea behind the strategy is very simple: once the US session comes in, price often sweeps the nearest liquidity and then returns back into the range that was formed before the active session started. That return may be back toward the session open, toward the middle of the range, or after a sweep of the previous range boundary. And this is where our eyes still give us an advantage. The indicator follows strict rules and will only print a signal when all of its conditions are met. But by reading the chart, we can sometimes see a perfectly valid sweep-and-return setup even when the indicator stays silent. 3 setups today. All 3 worked. The indicator printed only one BUY signal — intentionally. Its entry conditions are strict. After the US session opened: 🔴 1. SELL → manual setup Price swept above the upper boundary of the range, took the previous high and returned back inside the range. From there, price moved all the way to the lower boundary. Use 1 min timeframe for this tool. 🟢 2. BUY → indicator signal Price swept below the lower boundary and took the previous low. The indicator confirmed the BUY → price reached the partial TP around the middle of the range. 🟢 3. Second BUY opportunity → chart reading Price moved below the range again, swept the previous low and returned back inside. The indicator did not print another signal here — its conditions are intentionally strict. But visually, the setup was there. And one more important detail: the original BUY signal was never stopped out. Price reached the middle of the range again and then continued higher. The indicator gives the strict setup. The chart gives the context. That is exactly how I use it. The active session window is already over now, so I wouldn’t enter a new trade here. The opposite side of the range may still be reached — we’ll see.
