I believe Canadians can do this as well. I know they will reissue lost passports too and help with any legal stuff. I know this cause my mom had her passport stollen. And when I was 16 and in France, a man exposed himself to me and SA me. The local police were called and the embassy sent an interpreter/representative to ensure my legal rights were protected. Embassy’s are great resources!
