N Chandrasekaran, who has completed 40 years with the Tata Group and has led Tata Sons for nearly a decade, said he will not offer himself for reappointment when his current term ends on February 20, 2027. The decision comes after the Tata Sons Board did not reach a resolution on his proposed five year extension, six months after the proposal was tabled.
