The fronts of the lava flows fed by the 2,360 m vent appeared to be cooling. The most advanced active lava flow fronts were located at an altitude of 1,360 m, near Rocca Capra (Valle del Bove). At 14:10 UTC (16:10 local time), an impulsive ash emission was observed from the Bocca Nuova crater, interacting with the products of explosive activity from the Voragine crater, generating modest pyroclastic flows confined to the summit area.The average amplitude of the volcanic tremor continues to oscillate in the lower part of the high-value range, with sources located in the Voragine crater area at an altitude of approximately 3,000 m. Infrasonic activity (reflecting explosions) was high and very high, especially from approximately 13:00 UTC (15:00 local time), originating also from the Voragine crater area. Analysis of signals from ground deformation monitoring networkssuggests continuing, still-modest deflation is taking place (indicating the emptying of a shallow magma reservoir).
