HoYoVerse made two big Honkai: Star Rail announcements regarding the playable debut of IPC character Pearl and the launch of the 4.5 Special Program stream. The former won’t show up until 4.6. The latter will air at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET on August 14, 2026 on places like YouTube. Pearl is one the 10 Stonehearts from the IPC and is a character we previously saw in passing and in the story in Honkai: Star Rail. She’ll be a five-star unit who follows the Elation path and deals Ice damage. She’ll be the fourth member of that group to be playable. Topaz was first, followed by Aventurine and Jade. Aventurine is actually getting his first alt in 4.5. Speaking of which, the 4.5 Special Program stream for Honkai: Star Rail is called “”To Roll the Stars in Astropolis,” though there’s also a “Goodbye, All of Planarcadia” part mentioned. Summer alts of Aventurine and Robin will come up during that, as well as the next part of the storyline. That is Waveflair Aventurine, a five-star version who is an Elation type that deals Quantum damage. Meanwhile, Robin will get a Summeretto version that is five-stars, follows Remembrance, and deals Wind damage. Here’s that placeholder: The last Honkai: Star Rail updates involved the next part of the Fate/stay Night crossover. Both Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka appeared as part of that. Honkai: Star Rail is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.5 stream shows up on 4:30am PT/7:30am ET on August 14, 2026.
