Waiting for Confirmation: Price, Volume, RSI & MFISandisk CorporationBATS:SNDKAlphaFox-TradersThe stock doesn’t look very attractive at the current level because the confirmation is still weak. Volume is around 7.43M, which is low compared with the average, while RSI is 44.07 and MFI is 39.40, both are still below 50. The 20 SMA is also moving down and has crossed below the 50 and 100 SMA, which shows that the overall trend is still weak. The price did break above the 23.6% Fibonacci level, but it couldn’t hold there and has moved back below it. Also, the green candles are coming with lower volume compared with the red candles, which suggests that selling pressure is still stronger than buying pressure. So, instead of entering now, it makes more sense to wait and see if the stock can prove that buyers are actually taking control. Even if it breaks 23.6% again, I’d be careful if volume stays low and RSI/MFI remain below 50, as that could turn into another false breakout. What I’d wait for before considering an entry Price closes above 23.6% Fib with strong volume Volume moves above its average RSI gets above 50 and starts rising MFI gets above 50 and starts rising Price breaks the recent high around 1,430 Once these start lining up, the setup would look much healthier and give a better reason to consider entering rather than trying to catch the move early.
