It was a substantial change for one of EPCOT’s most recognizable attractions, particularly considering Disney had been running Soarin’ Around the World as the attraction’s primary film for roughly a decade.The good news for anyone who hasn’t experienced the new film yet is that Disney hasn’t announced a closing date.As of August 11, Soarin’ Across America remains listed without a scheduled final day at both EPCOT and Disney California Adventure.That means there’s currently no reason to panic and rush to the parks within the next few weeks.At the same time, anyone planning a Disney vacation farther into the future shouldn’t automatically assume the attraction will still be showing.Disney has consistently described Soarin’ Across America as a limited-time experience. Eventually, something is going to change.Could Soarin’ Across America Last Into 2027?The biggest question is whether Disney intends to keep the new film running beyond 2026.There has been plenty of discussion that Soarin’ Across America could continue into some point in 2027. That would certainly make sense considering the amount of work and investment that went into producing an entirely new Soarin’ film.Disney didn’t simply bring an old version out of storage for a few months. Soarin’ Across America is a newly created experience that debuted on both coasts.Keeping it around beyond the end of 2026 would give considerably more guests an opportunity to see it.However, there’s an important distinction to make here: Disney has not confirmed a 2027 closing date or even guaranteed that the film will remain available throughout 2027.At this point, anything beyond the currently published operating calendar remains uncertain.Credit: DisneyDisney could announce tomorrow that Soarin’ Across America will continue well into next year.
