I am, I live in a rural area. Housing is cheaper, however like the rest of the country rent has gone up. I am very lucky I was able to buy versus others who are forced to rent. Also, food can be expensive which is why I have to shop around. The Food Lion near my house is cheap on sides, Aldi on some frozen things, Walmart for Ground Turkey and Sausge, Cost Cutters on some meat, and Dollar Genreal also. Like I said in a previous post, planning shopping trips is a big help. Im willing to go to 4-5 different stores in a day just to save a couple of bucks per trip.
