By Mulengera ReportersEquity Bank Uganda’s Board of Directors and Executive Management have visited Microhaem Scientifics for a strategic engagement aimed at strengthening support for local industries and advancing Uganda’s manufacturing sector.The delegation, led by Board Chair Henry Rugamba, toured Microhaem Scientifics’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, where they explored the company’s innovations and contribution to Africa’s healthcare manufacturing industry.During the visit, Equity Bank reaffirmed its commitment to financing businesses that drive industrialisation, create employment opportunities, and promote economic growth across the continent.Through its African Recovery and Resilience Plan (ARRP), the bank said it is supporting investments that strengthen local production, reduce reliance on imported goods, and build resilient economies.Microhaem Scientifics shared its growth journey with the visiting team, highlighting its role in producing high-quality medical and laboratory products for Uganda and other African markets.
