Twitch defaults Amazon AI training on, buries opt-out in security settings

Twitch has begun sending creator streams to generative AI models built by its parent company Amazon. Instead of using the creator dashboard, the user has to go to channel settings. Then go to the security and privacy tab, scroll down to the option called “training for generative AI,” and turn it off.Meta trains on public Facebook and Instagram posts. According to Cryptopolitan, LinkedIn in 2025 planned to train generative AI on member profiles, posts, and resumes in several regions.
