BJP urges TVK-led government not to pursue confrontational approach with Centre like DMK - The HinduPublished - August 10, 2026 12:35 am IST - CHENNAIBJP State president Nainar Nagenthran on Sunday urged the TVK-led government “not to pursue a confrontational approach” like the erstwhile DMK regime in Tamil Nadu with the Central government and to further speed up efforts to acquire lands for various railway projects and thereby stand by the Central government in boosting the infrastructure in the State.In a social media post, Mr. Nagenthran referred to statements made by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in the Parliament in response to queries made by DMK MP Tiruchi Siva regarding railway projects in the State and fund allocations made for them.
