Several others were also given awards under categories including arts and culture, social welfare, education, and home retail.The award winners were selected through a rigorous two-stage evaluation process. Applications were first shortlisted by the Centre for Research, Entrepreneurship & Social Technology (CREST), IIT Madras, based on business viability, social impact, and entrepreneurial potential.
