At a neighborhood seed swap, I put out a tray of labled envelopes from plants I grew last year. One woman swept almost the entire tray into her tote before anyone else arrived. Ten minutes later she came back annoyed because there was no tomato seeds. She asked whether I could buy some and bring them next month since “free tables should have useful things.” The organiser offered her three packets someone else donated, but she wanted specific varieties.
