Tales of Eternia Remastered Video Shows Off WHIS Card Game

Wait 5 sec.

We got a chance to see what it will be like to return to the WHIS card game that appears as one of the minigames in the Tales of Eternia Remastered remaster. This is a returning element, so it’s just a reminder of how that works. While brief, it does highlight what to expect when playing through a match as Reid Hershel. WHIS isn’t all that dissimilar from the card game Uno and comes up as an optional diversion in Tales of Eternia Remastered. The video begins by showing that a match can start with a reminder of the rules, a peek at the cards you will see, or with an actual match. Cards are then dealt, with everyone having six at the start. Your goal is to earn points by getting rid of your cards. Like Uno, you can only place ones of certain colors. If you can’t play any, you need to draw one. While each card has a color, it is possible to swap colors to continue to discard if you get certain cards in your hand.  Here’s the full peek at the WHIS minigame in the remaster.  Be the first one to get rid of your cards and become the WHIS champion#TalesofEterniaRemastered#TOER pic.twitter.com/kSqIH554pW— Tales of Series (@TalesofSeries) August 13, 2026 Bandai Namco’s been using social media to go over Tales of Eternia Remastered returning elements like WHIS card game and new features since it announced the game back during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct.
