Just weeks before the “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” character dining experience at the Plaza Inn takes an extended pause, Disneyland Resort revealed a new look for the exterior of the restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. Disney later replaced a tree that had previously fallen near the restaurant.Late last month, the Southern California Disney park finally revealed what it was hiding behind the scrim fabric. WDWNT reported that although the paint on the side of the building remains the same cream color, it appears much shinier and shows less wear and tear than the surrounding areas.This construction update comes as the Table-Service dining location plans to temporarily stop offering the “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” character dining experience later this month. Lunch and dinner will remain available as always–the Plaza Inn does not offer character dining for any meal besides breakfast.Credit: DisneyOriginally, the Plaza Inn was scheduled to pause character dining on August 10. However, in late July, Disneyland Resort updated the webpage for the Table-Service dining location to state that it would continue to welcome Minnie Mouse and other characters until August 17, 2026.
