The midfielder said in a statement on the official Newcastle website that leaving St. James’ Park was “one of the toughest decisions of my life” after the club “did everything they could” to keep him. Bruno Guimaraes explains why he left Newcastle for ArsenalIn his first club interview with Arsenal, Bruno Guimaraes said he is “very excited” to join the north London outfit. “I’m at the point of my life where I need a challenge like this. I want to win trophies, I want to make history and I think I’m in the right place to do it. I’m so excited to start.” Guimaraes’ arrival bolsters an already strong collection of midfielders at Arsenal, including Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino. “In my point of view, [the Arsenal midfield] is one of the best in Europe. Everyone is an amazing player,” he said. “Every time when I play against [Arsenal] it was very tough. They keep the ball, they defend like one. I think that combination is the way I like to play as well, and of course, joining the winners of the league is always a big opportunity.”In terms of what he can add to Arsenal’s midfield, Bruno said: “I can pass the ball, run a lot and play like a warrior, I’ll never give up. I will try to help the team, [I’m] good with the ball, composed, very calm, and sometimes I can score some goals and hope to make everyone very, very happy here.” Read – Napoli eye £18m move for Arsenal outcastSee Also – Arsenal join Man Utd in race for Inter strikerFollow the Football Faithful on Social Media:Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | TikTokThe post Bruno Guimaraes explains why he left Newcastle for Arsenal appeared first on The Football Faithful.
