New Krispy Kreme Pokemon Doughnuts Announced, And You’re Gonna Wanna Eat ‘Em All

Wait 5 sec.

Starting next week, it's going to be totally acceptable to eat Pokemon. That's because Krispy Kreme on August 18 will launch a limited-time Pokemon Doughnut Collection, featuring tasty-looking pastries based on five beloved pocket monsters. You can take a bite of a Pikachu doughnut, filled with lemon creme and topped with "electrifying drizzle" as well as a Pikachu piece. Meanwhile, there's a Charmander doughnut containing a chocolate and toasted marshmallow filling. Other options include original glazed doughnuts but customized for Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and even the Poke Ball. A special-edition dozen looks to retail for about $21 in the US. The collaboration doesn't stop there, either. For starters, Krispy Kreme says that anyone who wears Pokemon threads to one of its locations on August 22 will receive a free basic glazed doughnut. There will also be five different Pokemon cups to collect, with each one housing 10 glazed gold dots. Hilariously enough, you can actually preorder the Pokemon doughnuts right now from Krispy Kreme's website. The Pokemon cups are going for about $8, or you can bundle one of those with the dozen collection for around $29. That's not really offering any additional savings, though. By the way, this isn't the first Pokemon food collaboration of the year. Target has Pokemon Pop-Tarts available, which originally came out back in 2000. The original anime also strongly hinted that people ate Pokemon. Last month, a sex toy shop launched unofficial items like the Bulbypulse to help you Pokemoan. 25 Pokemon That, Frankly, Look DeliciousView Images
