/u/chronicallyalive on I need 3K/mo for a $700 car payment, $500 in food, $1.7K for rent & bills. My rich parents only put aside a set amount to help & now they are refusing to help anymore. I told them I was homeless to try to get $ but they aren’t payin

Wait 5 sec.

Yup, and the ones they do cover still cost $4. I have had more than one conversation with my doctors on cutting down on as many prescriptions as possible, but I’m still on more than double what they’ll cover. I have to fill my most expensive prescriptions first and then pay the goodrx price on the rest. It absolutely eats into the very small amount of money I get per month, but Oklahoma doesn’t give a shit. I genuinely thought this was a mistake when I found out- I even called the 800 number and explained that I’m literally on disability and that’s why I’m on so many meds. It doesn’t matter.
