AUD/USD - Chart of the WeekAustralian Dollar vs. US DollarFX:AUDUSDThe_STAThis week we're on the Aussie dollar versus the US dollar — and here's why this chart has grabbed my attention. Daily: We've seen a clean rebound off the 200-day moving average — that's the turquoise line here. Price has tested it multiple times and keeps bouncing. We're now at a 6-week high. Near term, this is looking strong. There's a mild buy signal on the daily DMI, MACD is positive, and the RSI backs it up. Weekly: Zoom out, and price is bouncing off an uptrend running all the way back to 2025 — positive again. But here's the real story: last year we broke above a long-term downtrend stretching back to 2011, and price is now pushing higher. Weekly DMI, weekly RSI — both positive. Another tick in the bull column. Monthly: Pull back even further, and the market has been stabilizing above its monthly cloud for some time now. It looks primed for another leg higher. So where does this go? We're calling this a bull trend — and in a bull trend, there's no reason it can't run at the previous high from May 2026, near 0.7277, and beyond. The level that matters: as long as price holds above the 200-day moving average, this bullish view stays intact.
