Bi texture. On and off relationship with my hair 🧑🏿‍🦲

Wait 5 sec.

I (F,18) has had a bittersweet relationship with my hair. Through my teens I have had a beauty crisis. I couldnt manage my self and I still can't. But I'm at a point where I want to feel good again. So my hair was silky straight and shiny. It always grew slow. My hair grow rate was slow and I had bald spots as a kid. My mother would rub garlic and it fixed it then. But these masks and pastes made me really uncomfortable. OILING IS WEIRD FOR ME. My hair is oily but has dandruff and I have rough dry patches. Now that I'm older and oil my hair. I try to be frequent with oiling. I noticed that my baby hairs that I grew by pinning em are curly wavy-ish. I feel as if I am an imposter. I feel like this hair is not mine. 75% of my hair is straight but my mane is curly wavy-ish. Now I don't want to live like that. How do I get a mono texture Do I cut all my hair. Which is scary and not doable. I NEED ADVICE AND ANYTHING HELPS. HOW DO I RETAIN MY HAIR. HOW DO I MAKE IT SHINY. MY HAIR IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH BUT ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED. submitted by /u/deathglaree [link] [comments]
