The countdown is officially on.Final preparations are underway at the Ta’ Qali Concert Area ahead of the seventh edition of SummerDaze Malta, with organisers putting the finishing touches on one of the island’s biggest music events of the year.The two-night festival will see Lewis Capaldi take to the stage on 11th August, before Calvin Harris closes out the celebrations on 15th August, alongside a line-up of local artists.Malta Tourism Authority Chairman Charles Mangion visited the venue together with organisers to inspect preparations, describing SummerDaze as much more than just a concert.He said the festival plays an important role in promoting Malta internationally, attracting visitors looking for memorable experiences while supporting the local economy and strengthening the country’s reputation as a destination for major events.Jason Micallef, Head of Unit at the Ta’ Qali National Park, also highlighted how the park’s upgraded facilities are allowing Malta to host multiple large-scale international events across different areas at the same time.Organisers said this year’s edition raises the bar once again, with a world-class line-up that continues to cement Malta’s reputation as a destination capable of hosting major international productions.With Lewis Capaldi just days away from opening the festival and Calvin Harris’ General Admission tickets already sold out, SummerDaze 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest editions yet.Are you excited for this year’s SummerDaze?•
