That absolutely sucks to hear. I’m on permanent disability in Canada. They give me $1980/month to live on and they cover all of my medications and I find even that difficult. I know I live in a HCoL city tho. I hope that things get better for you. It’s terrible to make people who have become disabled suffer in poverty as well. (Thankfully they allow us to have up to $5000 in our bank/savings, as well as own our home, primary vehicle and even make about $1000/month if we can work). I hope all the best for you.
