Uttarakhand's cabinet approved extending the Ganga Expressway to Haridwar. This extension will significantly reduce travel time between Meerut and Haridwar. The project aims to improve connectivity for business and religious travel. It will also enhance access for pilgrims undertaking the Char Dham Yatra. The overall expressway network will eventually span over 1,049 kilometers.
