Something Big Is Coming for Chainlink | EducationalChainlinkCRYPTO:LINKUSDPersianBlockchainHello everyone. I’m not going to talk about Chainlink’s future based on technical analysis here, but it’s worth knowing that around 5.5 million LINK have been purchased, and Chainlink has had all of these partnerships and collaborations from 2023 to 2026. I think we are not nearly bullish enough on Chainlink. Something big is coming. # Chainlink Institutional Adoption Timeline — 2023 to August 2026 Chainlink’s institutional expansion accelerated significantly from 2023 onward. What started with cross-chain experiments involving Swift and major financial institutions gradually expanded into tokenized funds, collateral management, corporate actions, private transactions, stablecoins, and institutional blockchain infrastructure. ## 2023 — CCIP Goes Live and TradFi Enters the Picture ### July 17, 2023 — Chainlink CCIP Mainnet Launch Chainlink launched the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) on mainnet, creating a standardized infrastructure for transferring data, messages, and tokens across blockchains. ### August 31, 2023 — Swift + Chainlink + Major Financial Institutions Swift and Chainlink successfully demonstrated cross-chain transfers of tokenized assets using existing Swift infrastructure and CCIP. Participants included major institutions and market infrastructures such as: * BNY Mellon * Citi * DTCC * Euroclear * ANZ * BNP Paribas * Clearstream * Lloyds Banking Group * SIX Digital Exchange (SDX) This was one of the first major demonstrations that existing financial infrastructure could interact with multiple blockchains through a common interoperability layer. ### September 13, 2023 — ANZ + Chainlink ANZ demonstrated a cross-chain purchase of a tokenized asset using its Australian-dollar stablecoin ADC and Chainlink CCIP. This showed how a bank could use CCIP to move value and instructions between different blockchain networks. ### September 21, 2023 — DTCC + Chainlink DTCC and Chainlink announced work to explore bringing capital-market infrastructure onchain. DTCC also created BondTokens compatible with Chainlink CCIP as part of the Swift interoperability experiments. This was particularly significant because DTCC is one of the world's largest post-trade market infrastructures. ## 2024 — From Experiments Toward Institutional Infrastructure ### May 16, 2024 — DTCC Smart NAV Pilot DTCC launched its Smart NAV pilot with Chainlink and 10 major financial institutions. The project explored how standardized fund Net Asset Value (NAV) data could be delivered onchain and used across blockchain environments. This was an important step toward tokenized funds and automated financial workflows. ### July 3, 2024 — Fidelity International + Sygnum + Chainlink Fidelity International and Sygnum partnered with Chainlink to bring NAV data for Fidelity International's $6.9 billion money-market fund onchain. This demonstrated how traditional fund information could become available to blockchain-based applications. ### October 21, 2024 — Chainlink + 8 Major Market Participants Chainlink and major financial institutions launched an AI-powered corporate-actions initiative. The goal was to standardize and deliver corporate-actions information across traditional financial infrastructure and blockchain networks. ### October 22, 2024 — ANZ + CCIP Private Transactions ANZ became one of the first institutions to trial CCIP Private Transactions. The initiative focused on enabling institutions to use blockchain interoperability while protecting sensitive transaction information. ### November 5, 2024 — Swift + UBS Asset Management + Chainlink Swift, UBS Asset Management, and Chainlink successfully completed a pilot for tokenized fund subscriptions and redemptions. The experiment demonstrated how tokenized funds could interact with existing fiat payment infrastructure through the Swift network. The significance is enormous: Swift's network connects more than 11,500 financial institutions across more than 200 countries and territories. ## 2025 — Institutional Tokenization Moves Closer to Production ### 2025 — UBS + Chainlink UBS continued expanding its tokenized-fund infrastructure using Chainlink technology. The workflow connected traditional fund operations with blockchain-based systems, including subscription, redemption, NAV data, and tokenized fund management. ### 2025 — UBS + SBI Digital Markets + Swift + Chainlink Chainlink, UBS Asset Management, SBI Digital Markets, and Swift demonstrated infrastructure for next-generation tokenized funds under Singapore's MAS Project Guardian. CCIP and Chainlink infrastructure were used to connect fund-management workflows across blockchain and traditional financial systems. ### October 30, 2025 — Ondo Finance + Chainlink Ondo Finance and Chainlink announced a strategic partnership focused on bringing financial institutions and tokenized real-world assets further onchain. This expanded Chainlink's role beyond simple data delivery toward broader institutional tokenization infrastructure. ### October 31, 2025 — TON + Chainlink CCIP Chainlink expanded CCIP to TON. CCIP became the interoperability infrastructure connecting TON to the broader multi-chain ecosystem, giving Toncoin and applications on TON access to cross-chain infrastructure. ### 2025 — J.P. Morgan's Kinexys + Ondo + Chainlink Kinexys by J.P. Morgan and Ondo Finance worked with Chainlink on cross-chain Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP). The transaction involved Ondo's tokenized U.S. Treasury product as the asset leg and Kinexys Digital Payments as the payment leg. This is important because it demonstrates a potential bridge between institutional bank payment rails and tokenized assets. ## 2026 — Institutional Infrastructure Expands Further ### January 2026 — Ondo Tokenized Stocks + Chainlink Chainlink infrastructure expanded to support Ondo's tokenized U.S. stock products, bringing institutional-grade market data and oracle infrastructure to tokenized equities. ### February 25, 2026 — Canton + Chainlink Chainlink went live on Canton, a blockchain ecosystem focused heavily on institutional and financial-market applications. This significantly expanded Chainlink's institutional interoperability and tokenization infrastructure. ### March 3, 2026 — ADI Foundation + Chainlink ADI Foundation and Chainlink announced an official partnership focused on stablecoins and tokenization across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. ### March 25, 2026 — Coinbase + Chainlink Coinbase and Chainlink announced an integration bringing Coinbase exchange market data onchain through Chainlink's DataLink infrastructure. This is broader Chainlink infrastructure rather than a CCIP-specific partnership, but it is important for institutional market-data infrastructure. ### April 15, 2026 — SIX + Chainlink SIX and Chainlink brought Swiss and Spanish equity-market data onchain. The combined market capitalization represented by the covered equities was approximately €2 trillion. ### April 23, 2026 — Bridgetower + Chainlink Bridgetower adopted Chainlink to tokenize more than $11 billion in securities associated with an Arizona copper-gold asset project. This represents another major real-world-asset tokenization use case. ### May 6, 2026 — Bermuda Monetary Authority + Chainlink Ecosystem Chainlink, Apex Group, Bluprynt, and Hacken partnered with the Bermuda Monetary Authority to complete an embedded-supervision solution designed to support digital-asset compliance. ### May 12, 2026 — DTCC + Chainlink DTCC announced that its Collateral AppChain would leverage Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) and Chainlink's data standard. The goal is near-real-time collateral management across financial markets and blockchain environments. This is one of the most significant institutional Chainlink developments in 2026 because it moves beyond experimentation toward core financial-market infrastructure. ### May 18, 2026 — SGX FX + Chainlink SGX FX adopted Chainlink infrastructure to expand access to its institutional foreign-exchange market data and support broader distribution of institutional market information. ### June 4, 2026 — Chainlink Institutional Expansion Chainlink appointed Andrew McCormick as Head of Institutional and Market Development, reflecting the company's increasing focus on financial institutions and capital markets. ## The Biggest Institutional Names Connected to Chainlink Across these initiatives, some of the most important institutions and financial-market infrastructures connected to Chainlink include: * Swift * DTCC * Euroclear * Clearstream * BNY Mellon * Citi * BNP Paribas * ANZ * Lloyds Banking Group * SIX / SIX Digital Exchange * UBS Asset Management * Fidelity International * Sygnum * SBI Digital Markets * Wellington Management * J.P. Morgan / Kinexys * Ondo Finance * Coinbase * Mastercard * Emirates NBD * ADI Foundation * Bermuda Monetary Authority * SGX FX * Canton ## The Bigger Picture The important point is not that every institution above is directly using CCIP in production. The more important development is the evolution of Chainlink's role: 2023 → Cross-chain experiments 2024 → Tokenized funds, NAV, private transactions and corporate actions 2025 → Institutional tokenization and payment/settlement infrastructure 2026 → Collateral management, institutional blockchains, tokenized securities, market data and production-oriented financial infrastructure This suggests that Chainlink is increasingly positioning itself as an interoperability, data, compliance and orchestration layer connecting traditional financial infrastructure with public and private blockchains. For LINK investors, the key question is therefore not simply "How many partnerships does Chainlink have?" The more important question is: How much of the global financial system can eventually depend on Chainlink infrastructure for data, interoperability, settlement and onchain financial workflows? Don't forget that this is not financial advice. Best regards, Amir Ghasemi
