After serving as Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs for nearly two months, Hon. Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo has officially handed over the ministry to newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister, Ambassador Adonia Ayebare.The handover ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, following the swearing-in of three newly appointed ministers by President Yoweri Museveni at State House on Tuesday.Upon handing over the office, Kasolo congratulated Ayebare and wished him success as he takes on the key diplomatic portfolio.He noted that Uganda’s diplomacy has continued to advance the country’s national interests, strengthen strategic partnerships and deepen regional and international cooperation.Congratulations, Amb.
