Djed Spence’s future at Tottenham continues to be in major doubt, as the full-back has no shortage of admirers after his World Cup performances.Tottenham’s World Cup semifinalists are expected to return for pre-season over the coming days, but a couple of them may not be at Hotspur Way for too long. That includes Spence, who is thought to be keen on leaving Spurs in search of guaranteed game time elsewhere, after being one of the best full-backs on show on the biggest stage this summer.Newcastle and Liverpool have both been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old Tottenham star, but it appears that another Premier League side is in the running for the player.Credit: @thefrederikkejensen / InstagramTottenham’s Djed Spence has been offered to Man United and LiverpoolIt was reported by Football Insider last month that Spence has emerged onto Man United’s radar in light of his displays in North America.Journalist Ben Jacobs has now revealed that the former Middlesbrough man has been offered to United, as well as their arch-rivals, Liverpool, after expressing his desire to seek a new challenge.Jacobs said on The United Stand: “Obviously, the other option is more of a two-sided full-back. You may remember, in kind of March, April, we were speaking of how if they had a kind of left-winger that could drop into left wing-back, they might sign a right-sided full-back that can switch sides.“And Djed Spence is a name on the player’s side that has been offered around. He has been offered to Liverpool, he has been offered to Manchester United.“I am not aware yet whether the club’s interested in that deal, but Spence wants to go somewhere and play week in week out, whether it’s on the right and whether it’s on the left, so his future might be broadly one to watch again.”Man United have not substantiated their interest in SpenceJacobs explained that while De Zerbi would like to keep the full-back at Spurs as a squad player, the Italian cannot offer him guarantees of regular game time. The journalist also revealed that so far, the Red Devils hasve not given any signal that they are about to substantiate their interest in the Tottenham man.He added: “I don’t think Man Utd at this point have said we want Djed Spence, we are going to move for Djed Spence, we are going to negotiate for Djed Spence, but the Spence side are offering him around to Premier League clubs because with Pedro Porro on one side and Destiny Udogie on the other and after a very positive World Cup, Spence can’t guarantees he is going to play every week at Tottenham Hotspur, and that’s why he is assessing his options even though Roberto De Zerbi would love to keep him as a squad player.”READ MORE: ‘My club is cooking’ – Tottenham fans impressed with latest £20m transfer businessThe post Tottenham’s Djed Spence has been offered to two Premier League giants this summer appeared first on Spurs Web.
