Mawokota North Member of Parliament Amelia Kyambadde has publicly hit back at her predecessor, musician-turned-politician Hilary Kiyaga, popularly known as Dr Hilderman, accusing him of repeatedly insulting and abusing her despite having previously benefited from her support.Speaking during a burial ceremony in Mawokota North, Kyambadde said she had supported Dr Hilderman at a time when he was struggling financially and urged him to appreciate people who had helped him in the past.I helped you when you were very broke and poor. Dr Hilderman, who represented Mawokota North before losing the seat to Kyambadde in the January 15, 2026 elections, is challenging her victory in court.The petition, which also names the Electoral Commission, remains active.
