A 27-year-old Indian man from Paola has died following a fatal traffic accident in Triq Tal-Ħandaq, Qormi.The accident happened at around 11:45am, when the victim was driving a Toyota Toyace truck that was involved in a collision with a DAF CF85 driven by a 39-year-old man from Tarxien.Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team were called to the scene. Sadly, the 27-year-old was certified dead on site.Magistrate Monica Borg Galea has opened an inquiry, while Police investigations, together with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA), are ongoing.Lovin Malta sends its condolences to the man’s family during this difficult time•
