India's market regulator is taking significant steps to enhance the supervision of its digital bullion market by proposing new vault manager regulations for all physical bullion. This initiative, which comes from the Securities and Exchange Board of India, aims to broaden the reach of the Electronic Gold Receipts framework. Stakeholders are encouraged to submit their feedback on the consultation paper by September 1.
