On a day which honored the late trainer Christophe Clement as one of the newest members to be inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, Bottas (Vekoma–Iadorakid, by Lemon Drop Kid) ran on nicely for Miguel Clement's stable to take the Grade II race which is named after the museum on Union Avenue.The colt was guided home by jockey Manny Franco who notched his sixth victory on the card to tie the Saratoga record for wins on a single card.A graded winner at 2 last year, Bottas went off as a 3-1 shot here. The 3-year-old rated from off the pace and fired his best shot down the lane. Taking control inside the final furlong, Bottas delivered for the Clement clan on what was a special day.
