Tottenham target Omar Marmoush has spoken about his future at Man City, while manager Enzo Maresca has also reacted to speculation over the forward’s future.Spurs are now working on making multiple additions to their forward line ahead of Roberto De Zerbi’s first full season in charge.According to reports, the Tottenham boss is a big fan of Marmoush, who struggled to get much game time at the Etihad Stadium last term. Some sources have said that the Egypt international may be set for crunch talks with Man City about his future, but his latest comments come as a blow to Spurs and his other suitors.Photo by Chung Sung-Jun/Getty ImagesTottenham target Omar Marmoush is enjoying pre-season at Man CityThe 27-year-old was the star for Man City on Sunday, scoring a brace in their 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.Speaking after the game, the forward admitted that he is feeling confident ahead of the new season and is working to understand his role in Enzo Maresca’s system. His words certainly do not sound like those of a player who is desperate to leave the Etihad Stadium over the coming weeks.Marmoush told Manchester Evening News: “I’m enjoying myself a lot. Obviously, as a striker, it gives you confidence, and it gets you going in the flow, and I just had to tap it on the net, and I’d like to thank [Antoine Semenyo, for the assist], of course, and yeah, it just gives me confidence in the preseason. It feels good, next is the Community Shield.“We’re trying to learn the new tactics, the patterns, and what the coach demands from us, and I think we’re starting to get the hang of it. Obviously, after 10 years, what Pep did here was unbelievable. It’s not easy after the change, but we’ve done really well, and we’ll go back home and keep going.”Enzo Maresca remains coy on Marmoush’s futureSpeaking ahead of the clash against Atletico, Maresca admitted that ‘anything can happen’ regarding Savinho’s future, as the winger continues to be heavily linked with a move to N17.The Italian was similarly coy about Marmoush, refusing to confirm that the forward will remain in Manchester. When asked about the former Eintracht Frankfurt man’s future, the new City boss said: “The answer has to be similar to the one I answer about James Trafford. Players work every day, they want to play so when they don’t play they are not happy.“Omar did not play a lot last year, so his desire is probably to play more minutes. It doesn’t mean that he isn’t going to play more minutes here, but it’s also his decision, and to understand his decision in details.”READ MORE: Newcastle eye former Tottenham midfielder to replace £100m Sandro TonaliThe post Omar Marmoush and Enzo Maresca react to Tottenham transfer speculation appeared first on Spurs Web.
