I’ve been searching for information on transitioning from topical to oral minoxidil and was really confused about what to do. I found a study that basically said you don’t need to overlap them, the risk of dread shed is only about 5%. My doctor said I could do whatever I wanted, so I opted to just stop the topical when I started oral. I figured I can always add it back, but I really hated the topical.
