Dance choreographer Mulo Mazzina has opened up about moments when he has felt he deserved to be rewarded for his creativity after seeing some of his signature dance moves being showcased by high-profile personalities.Mazzina was responding to a question about whether anyone has ever copied or performed his dance moves and made him feel like they owed him money.He pointed to Uganda Cranes players and national netball players, whom he has seen showcasing his dance moves during international tournaments. He noted that if he had access to the people managing the athletes, he would have demanded payment for the use of his creative work.“I feel like those Uganda Cranes players and netball players need to cash me out some money whenever they showcase my dance moves in the tournaments they participate in. The challenge is that they’re not easily accessible.”However, he admitted that beyond the financial aspect, seeing his moves performed on the international stage also brings him immense joy, especially in places he has not yet travelled to.“Sometimes I feel it’s great because they get to expose my dance moves on the global stage where I have not yet travelled and reached. That gives me overwhelming joy.”Mazzina nevertheless maintained that he would still pursue his claim if he got in touch with the people responsible for the athletes.Amelia Kyambadde hits back at Dr Hilderman over insults and abuse“But still, they need to toss me some cash.
