Former Ebonies actress Mrs. Mariam Bukenya, popularly known as Ketra, has ruled out raising children born to her co-wives, arguing that every mother should take responsibility for raising her own children.Ketra was sharing her views following a heated debate that emerged on one of the podcast shows hosted by singer Sheebah Karungi, where she hosted Joanita Kawalya. During the discussion, Kawalya stressed that she could not take care of children belonging to her co-wife.Sharing the same sentiments, Ketra said she sees no reason why a woman should expect another woman to raise her children, especially after carrying and giving birth to them.“I can’t allow or raise children belonging to my co-wife in my home. I don’t mind how the public reacts. Those who want to quarrel can do so. Every parent knows how best to raise their children.
